Guys help me I made it to the championship in my league with all my buddies and it's one game for it all this weekend— I have to choose between Trubisky and Mayfield at QB... Mayfield is home to Cinci and Trubisky obviously plays us...
I'm usually a homer and that f**ks with me in fantasy but I don't feel so sure Trubisky has a great game... But I guess he'll probably put up a couple of touchdowns and seeing as we haven't been taking the ball away... But I haven't really watched him much, I just know from fantasy he's had a few really good games and a few games where he got like 4 or 8 points lol. And I feel pretty good about Mayfield at home against Cinci too, so I'm torn :/

I would easily say Baker Mayfield but the Browns are playing a lot of back ups on Cincinnati so they might be able to just run out the clock and cruise once they score over 14 points. The Bears defense might handle the 49ers offense and they also might be able to cruise. If I was forced to pick I would probably go with Mitchell Trubisky because maybe the Niners can make a game of it and the bears have to score. Also Mitch gets 3 or 4 rushing points
Good luck. Are there any quarterbacks available that are better options or do you have to choose between these two

Appreciate the reply, next best option is Josh Allen. Who's actually been the best QB in fantasy the past four weeks (mostly with his rushing). He plays at New England....
Yeah I think if I wasn't a homer it'd be Trubisky by a hair. In real life I think Mayfields a better QB but we know that's not always what it's about. Also our D's been playing a bit better of late. I'd just feel sick if we hold Trubisky to a bad game and I lose because of it but what can ya do

Just his second year. And only had one full year of college football. So he should still be getting better.
This. Have to remember that not only is he a second year player, he had just a year as a starting QB in college.
That said, he's thrown for 2800 yards with 23 TDs and a passer rating of 94 after missing a fee games. He has had some really good games along with some bad ones but he has definitely shown progress as a passer.
dude is young and at least he's showing promise early. The 2017 qb class is a lot better than we thought (minus Kizer)
Yea for sure. I didn't mean to come across as s**tting on him. Just pointing out that he hasn't been as good as the numbers would lead you to believe.
I agree. And I'm by no means a draft genius but I didn't understand why nobody liked the top prospects from 2017, and instead talked about how much better 2018 guys were.
I liked Mahomes/Watson and even Mitch to a certain extent much more than darnold/Allen/Jackson. I did like Rosen and mayfield though.
