Mitch "Mr Biscuit" Trubisky-QB-North Carolina

Well, apart from WR, RB is a must since the running game is such a huge part of Kyle's offense. All we have is Carlos Hyde right now and the rest are nothing to shout about.

If a team is 2-3 years from competing for a playoff spot, it should not draft for the position with the shortest expected NFL career. Especially not a prospect who has lower leg injury concerns.

Considering how absolutely loaded this draft is RB's, I see no reason to take one early, especially with Shanahan's scheme allowing pedestrian RB's to look good. You'll be able to get some guys that you'd typically find in the 2nd and 3rd round in most drafts in the 4th round of this draft.
You're only years away if that's how you want to approach it. NO was just as bad as us if not worse brought in Brees, drafted a rb in the 1st and instantly made themselves a contender. People need to stop with the loser attitude.

This. People make it sound like this is some sort of expansion franchise. There's talent, they just need some cornerstone guys, a QB, an elite pass rusher, a #1 WR, beyond that you can fill in the gaps pretty well.

Agree with those assessments regarding needs. This is one of the reasons I'm high on Mitch. Go sign Alshon in FA, and then in the draft we can either go with Mitch in the 1st, and a top pass rusher in the 2nd. Or if somehow Garrett falls, you take him at #2, and go Mahomes or Peterman later in the draft. In either scenario you bring in a guy like Hoyer to hold down the fort.

ABSOLUTELY! Sign key free agents and get more hits than misses on the draft and we're back in there. We need to hit a home run at QB. Its time to be positive again Niner fans!
This guy has Trubisky to NY Giants

Daniel Jeremiah must have started taking drugs with his mock draft 2.0. He has the 9ers taking a CB. LOL.

Just too bad, I really thought he was a nice kid when he had Trubisky going to the 9ers at 2 in his mock draft 1.0.

I completely agree. We need more weapons coming out of the backfield. The falcons had a great offense the last few years, but they did not explode until they had Freeman and Coleman healthy.

Yeah we may need a little luck in finding a Colston in the 7th round but we can easily walk out of fa/ draft with a franchise qb and improved pass rush. If we take a rookie like Mitch I like Hoyer as a stopgap and wouldn't call the season lost just yet.

Sounds like a plan, I like it.

Yep, I have also said Hoyer and Mitch would be just fine.

I agree. Basically we're in dire need of some playmakers.
