Steelers just won the AFC North and locked in at the #3 right? They won't have nothing to play for against the Browns and might bench their starters

The thing is, who will be the higher seed if the Texans or Steelers tie at 10-6? Because if Texans would then Steelers will play this game to win. If Steelers are 3rd seed They'd play the dolphins(6th seed). But if theyre 4th they play the chiefs(5th seed).
And the following week Steelers would have to play the patriots if they were 4th, instead of a Carr-less Raiders team. If I was the Steelers, I'd hope to be the 3rd seed for the easier route.

All this could have been avoided by a loss last night.. I mean why wouldn't you want number 1 overall. Garrett or Trubisky? You'd have your choice, not whoever is left. I think it's a big difference. Could make the difference of getting a Garrett and Garoppolo, where now Browns could do that exact thing?

What's done is done. Let's see what happens and enjoy the Niners picking #2 at worst.

According to the playoff simulator if both the Texans and Steelers end up 10-6 the Steelers end up with the 3rd seed based on strength of schedule

Perfect! Then the browns actually have a chance then. Assuming Ben Brown Bell sit at the minimum

The pick that makes the most sense for them is QB or Jonathan Allen. They will more than likely take Allen at 1 and their QB at 8 (or wherever that 2nd pick is). Regardless, we will get Garrett and might even be forced to make the same decision we would've had to make at #1 and that is Garrett or Trubisky since I truly believe they will take the most dominant defensive lineman in Allen.
Don't worry faithful, we are walking away with Garrett or Trubisky. Can't be more excited
Wish I could LIKE/FAVORITE this post. Still want that #1 though!
I ain't dreaming of a white Christmas, I'm dreaming of AA and Lynch chasing QBs from one side while DeFo and Myles chase 'em down from the other.
Try to stop that!!!!
