He's a statue that loses all ability to function when under any pressure. I don't see his odds of NFL success being very good.

The only reason I want this guy drafted by a team in the first round (even though he does not deserve such an honor) is because it would give the U a first round draft pick. As a biased fan, it's great. But there's very little I like about this guy's ability to succeed as a starter in the NFL. In the right situation, with some serious work, I think he has longterm backup written all over him. I also do not understand why come out now? Maybe he knows he isn't getting any better, because he sure hasn't in three years.

Nothing says success like a QB who wets his pants anytime a pass rusher gets near him.

Yeah now if you can only stack together an OL that is better than what Dallas has and he might be good to go. I'd rather have Peterman and Evans over Kaaya.

Based on PFF numbers->
Trubisky under pressure-66.2% completions
Watson under pressure-62.2% completions
Kizer under pressure-59.5% completions
Kaaya under pressure-32.9% completions

I'm not saying he is the guy but Kaaya seems to have almost everything that Kyle is looking for. The natural throwing and the accuracy. If only he didn't fold under pressure he would be the easy fit for this offense.

Blaine Gabbert would be a great if only he didnt consistently misfire and overthrow wide open receivers by 10 yards.
The ability to function with pass rushers in your face is a crucial element for an NFL QB.
Shanahan said the first thing he wants to see from a quarterback prospect is the ability to throw the ball naturally. That eliminates a lot of prospects from the beginning, he said.
After that, there are a lot of other factors Shanahan said he considers.
"If you're born to throw and it's effortless, you can do it with ease and you don't have to think about the throwing part because everything else is so hard," Shanahan said. "And if you have that, you want a guy who's fearless. If you sit and watch the rush in this league or you're thinking about getting hit or have any hesitation, you don't have much of a chance. The game moves too fast and you have to keep your eyes downfield.
"And you got to have a certain amount of intelligence so that you can handle everything. But it's not just your IQ, it's being able to handle it under pressure and think fast and react. Once the game starts, your mind has to shut off. It's got to be a feel and you react, usually based off the preparation you did throughout the week and your natural feel of the game."
