Who do you hope will be pushed off of the 53 man toster by a rookie?

I'd say all of these guys have to prove themselves to keep a roster spot

All OL except for Kilgore and Staley
All WR except for Torrey Smith, Smelter and Ellington
All DLmen except Armstead, Dial and Ian Williams
All LB except for Lynch, Harold and Bowman...though as stated that position is likely safe since we didn't add many OLB/ILB in the draft
All TEs except Bell
Safeties I think are safe

No doubt, Devey, Pears and TJE are gone and Martin and Patton better watch his ass too...literally.

Why all the hate for Martin? The guys is only 22. Joshua Garnett is only like 2-3 months older than him, and Martin already has two years experience under his belt. Im sure hes been adding strength and thats the biggest thing he needs to starting getting his play to go his way.

Martin gets 1 year to prove something. I wanted Nick Martin badly.

Well it's clear to me the team is not thrilled by the play of any of Reaser, Acker, Cromartie or Johnson.

one is a seventh rounder who was drafted purely because he's fast.

We're going to be playing in nickel/dime the majority of snaps next year. Jimmy Ward is moving to safety. All those players are young and promising, but you don't scratch the position off your draft board because you have a few nice pieces.

Veteran guys that are terrible and we know they aren't going to get better. Jordan Devey, Erik Pears, and perhaps Tony Jerod Eddie. I think with our draft picks, we have 7 guys at DL, so that should be enough to say bye bye to TJE.

The fact that Eli Harold has seemingly leapfrogged Corey Lemonier as well as Tank Carradine who JUST made the switch to OLB means the writing is probably on the wall for him as well. I think Lemonier's only hope is if he magically transforms into a special teams standout.

Marcus Martin and Mike Davis looked terrible, but it's too early to write them off. I do hope that with so many guys that can play guard available that someone else gets some work in at center.

Davis played significant time in two games. The first he was beyond awful. The second he was pretty decent.

Martin has only looked terrible. He is super young though so this year will tell us a lot (I'm hoping he doesn't have to play though).

Why Acker?? He got the starting job in his 2nd yr and played well.
