He'll still be drafted. I had him at number two on my TE board. But, this will hurt his wallet. Booze and coherent thought don't work well together. If I was there, I would have said before he threw the punch, "This is going to cost you six figures. It is not worth it." My guess if that he would have chosen a different course of action.

He very well could end up as the best TE in this class. He's a little more explosive than Hunter. I like Hunter's consistency. He feels like a very safe pick. Higbee has a higher ceiling, IMO. I see a slightly quicker version of Kelce.

Kelce is the comp I see, which might keep him as my second TE, even with the arrest. Couple weeks to see how this plays out. Kelce was my number two after Eifert a few years ago, and he had off the field issues as well going into the draft. Baalke picked McDonald. Wrong pick.

Toughest evaluation continues to be Chris Jones. Top 15 talent and grade, but a knucklehead.

Still can't believe two ones, two 2s and two 3s. Good grief almighty. Umm, I am glad our GM did NOT make that trade. Unless Wentz or Goff takes the Rams to 2 SBs, wow.

Steep cost. If you hit, it is worth it. But, you better hit.

Why 13 on this list? I had to get down to a former student of mine, Skura, who was Pro Football Focus' top graded center in 2016. Keep an eye on Friend as a draftee. Not talked about much, but alpha male, team captain centers who can throw up bar a lot of times get drafted. Same principal applies to Allen, who may have caused more damage to Connor Cook than anyone else by being the supreme leader of the offense at MSU.

Don't think the Niners will draft a safety, but I think it is a pretty good class. TJ Green may be moved to corner, and Cravens may end up a OLB, but I will put them on here:

Guys that tall and fast and smooth and thin really look like corners at the next level. I had him down my safety board because of his build.

Really enjoyable watching the athleticism of Cody Whitehair and Joe Thuney, guys who can play all over the OL. Both ready for successful NFL careers.

Whitehair is plug-and-play from day 1. He's going to be a stud LG, but could slide to LT if needed, and probably to OC as well. I'm sure the Ravens would love to have him replace Osemele. Ultimately I don't think he'll make it to the 2nd round.

I will say in what I have seen of Hunter, he has some terrific hands. Does he give you a sort of Zach Ertz vibe Maddog? Don't know why but that's who keeps coming to mind for me.
