Going dark again at the start of Day Three. Soccer game. Hope to be back when the Niners are on the clock

At the same time, if you are going to trust Baalke on any position, it is the secondary. This is his specialty.
Going into Day Three, the Niners have a lot of good RBs and ILBs still on the board. Many of these guys will be picked clean by the end of the 4th round (that Garnett trade will sting for some time today). Perry could be an intriguing player to move into the middle. Higbee a sublime pass receiver.
Agreed MD, I liked Russell more, kinda wish he was the pick, but I also like Redmond, so not upset about it that much.

MD, if you don't like moving Garnett from one side to the other, how do you feel about tiller, Garnett or Zane as an OC...and has anyone of them spent any or much time at OC? That is a bigger issue unless that is being sought after today. Kilgore seems to be on the downslope and injury makes him questionable. Certainly had trouble staying healthy last yr, and will be surprised if chip doesn't find an OC that he thinks can start. I guess there still are cuts from other teams still waiting to happen and maybe we have sights set there. Man, to get a not only functional, but an entire OL that can be starters....that would be one heckuva draft. Two of my favorites are already gone. And man did I ever want Mack. He was worth $9 mil per/yr, but we weren't at the point we were ready to make a SB run, so I can see not getting him now.
Doesn't mean I didn't want hm tho.

Has first round talent if not for his ACL injury last season, I think he and Robinson could be a nice 1-2 punch at CB, with Dontae Johnson in there. I think Brock is done after 2016, last year next year, and no guranteed money left.

How do you not have Billings in there? He was rated 29th on your board, and did not get drafted until #122.

Billings was at 29, and Dixon was at 31 and K. Russell early 30s as well. Since we had already picked up a DL in the first round, I bypassed Billings in the third round and selected a CB in Russell, who I had similarly graded. He would have been the pick at 133 for me, but was gone at 122, so I selected Dixon, who was 31st on my board.

Hey, MD, now that we're 3 years out (how long everyone says you have to wait before judging a draft), I thought it'd be fun if you reviewed your projections from 2016. Our draft outside of Buckner and maybe Blair, two picks you were a big fan of, looks like doo doo, but overall curious what you thought. Anybody that fell that you feel your were proven right about? Anybody you were high on that turned out not to be great? How does your personal draft look now that we've had a few years.

Not to bust his balls but looking at his WR rankings maybe it's good news for us he's not thrilled with our WR picks this year

I remember a former niners GM who struggled to scout receivers as well.
