Sorry, I am in Europe.... Kind of hard here...

But thank you for the polite insightful answer. If I could watch the film, I would... Or is there a you tube link? (sometimes even there regions are blocked)

And Vernon Adams is an awesome COLLEGE QB.

I guarantee you Hogan has a better NFL career than Adams.

Adams has more talent in one of his tweeny weenie hands than Hogan's has.

Hogan has showed he can manage an NFL offense, Adams has showed he can be Dennis Dixon.

By managing you mean handing the ball off all game and throwing it like 6 times, yeah tough task lol

No I'm actually talking about:

1. Taking snaps from under center.
2. Passing the ball while taking 3, 5 or 7 step drops.
3. Going through progressions
4. Making pre-snap reads
5. Making passes to NFL type receivers routes

But of course Vernon Adams has his extremely strong arm and athleticism right, that should be more than enough to transition to the NFL.

Sam Bradford took 7 snaps from under center all year. Is that really an issue? lol
I would be ok to take him late as a project player but not in the 3rd. If falls back further then yes but we have too many other needs then drafting project players that early.

yeah 3rd is way too early imo

And how did Sam Bradford do this past year??

But seriously, it shows if you can't be a complete QB in the NFL you won't last long, defenses will figure out your tendencies. Look at the QB's that are consistently in the playoffs, tell me how many of them are Michael Vick types??

He has? Without ever even standing in an NFL huddle? None of these guy are proven coming out.

The Adams hype is premature, but it's easy to see the excitement with Chip getting a mobile a QB, especially later in the draft. He's far from proven, but he fits the mold and has shown that he can excel in a zone-read offense.
If they can get him undrafted that'd be great. Don't see much there to justify using a pick on. Maybe one of the comp 6ths.

You know what I mean. Oh you don't, OK I meant an offense that is similar to an NFL offense or do I have to edit my post just for you??
I see legendary draft expert Ryan Sakamoto has given him a 3rd round grade!!!

No, I get your point. It just doesn't really make sense. If Adams were 3 inches taller everyone would be calling for him in the 2nd round. Maybe late in the 2nd because of him baby hands

I have no idea what range the kid should go in but from what I saw I like him. He moved around in the pocket. Kept trying to plant his feet after scrambling around, kept looking down field instead of just running. Arm looked good and so did the accuracy.

He actually reminded me of Wilson. He kept trying to keep the play alive by moving around in the pocket but kept his eyes looking downfield. That's how Wilson gets all those broke play completions. A wr eventually gets behind the secondary because the QB buys enough time.

I would the traditional pure pocket QB to lead us to the promised land. But the Read option type or mobile type are becoming more effective every year. It's a small sample size but these mobile QBs have been deep in the playoffs and Superbowls for the past couple of years. Kap, Wilson and now Cam. Wilson and Cam have done pretty good at starting out as a run based QB but slowly becoming better at being a pocket type QB as the years go on. But the still have that threat that keeps the defense on its toes that they could run any given play.
