I never understood the hate or the undervalue of Hogan.
I didn't watch every Stanford game..but the ones I did watch, he played well.
He had BIG shoes to fill.
Physically he looks like Andrew Luck.
I don't want us to invest a high draft pick this draft....so someone like Hogan or similar size/athletic pro style QB I'd be cool with.

I only watched him play my Fighting Irish but he has always done well against us. However, he seems like a cerebral type QB, that under the right system, can be a decent QB. I would like him under Harbaugh and Roman, but not with Chip Kelly. I think Chip Kelly's system would be a bad fit for him. I can see a team like the Patriots or Kansas City take a flyer on him in the 5th round and Hogan can learn from the game's two smartest Quarterbacks.

I'll be honest guys. Really watching a ton of Stanford games this week, and I've got to say that Hogan's arm is simply too weak to make NFL throws. He can't drive the ball down the field with authority, the ball hangs in the air too long on intermediate throws, and in the NFL, that equals INTs. He is completely off my draft board, as much as I like the other intangibles he brings. Simply no juice in the arm.

Hogan's a winner...he'll never be the best passer around, but he finds ways to win. He's more athletic than many think...he can get you a 1st down or short yardage TD with his legs. I wouldn't be disappointed in the least if Baalke picks him.

The problem with hogan is the throwing motion. If he can speed it up(like Rivers did) he will be a starter no doubt
