Personally I think he turns his season around and does play better, starting tonight..Also don't you think the bc Its almost a fact that he will tear it up the combine is going to boost his stock if he doesn't turn his season around..? lol I say turn his season around like hes having a horrible season..

He's got to, he wouldn't be the first QB we've seen go from an expected top 3 pick to falling down the draft boards in one season. I still expect him to be a Top 10 pick but he has to improve his accuracy.

So far hes looking very good, I don't think he has missed a throw yet, still only 3rd quarter tho and idk if BCs defense is good or not but they are getting beat up pretty bad tonight

I think he will let loose as time goes on. He will slowly realize he doesn't have to be perfect to cement a top stock, but just keep doing what he has been doing the last 2 years and show why he was highly rated.

Well, BC was the #1 defense in the country coming into this game, but they obviously won't be that after the game. Their ranking was probably more indicative of their opponents for sure.

This scares me though, that he plays like this, worrying about his draft spot.

That SCREAMS to me another conservative quarterback mindset that weve already seen way to much in the last decade+

I wouldn't worry about that with him. He has thrown the best deep ball in CFB the last two years and is still taking plenty of deep shots. He just hasn't been as crisp for whatever reason this year on those deep throws, but he is still chucking it all over the field. Definitely looking better the last two or three weeks.

With all that said and I agree he hasn't been what at least I expected so far I think he still has a chance to go number 1, and honestly I would be very happy if the niners draft him, I still feel he will be great in Kellys scheme..

I think realistically right now, a lot of folks have him as the #3 QB. If he can't get his performance turned out, it will hurt his draft stock. Usually when you look at QB's, you look at guys that improved every single year in college, not a guy who substantially fell off his final year. He needs to get back to playing the way he did last season.

I don't see conservative...they are undefeated and he's avg 262 yards a game,3 TDs per game, and has a 61% comp percentage. It looks like he's not running the ball as much which is a big part of that offensive scheme.

It also looks like he's beefed up a little which is a good thing.
Watson is the most pro-ready and I think he can come right in and start and do a good job. Kizer has the biggest upside. But overall I think Kaaya will be the best PRO QB in the long-run. I like all 3 guys though.

I think Kaaya is more pro ready, unless Watson comes to SF. I still like Watson for Chip's offense.
LOL, NC State fumbles it back on the next play. Kizer needs to punch it in here.

Edit: Whoops, wrong thread.

Yeah, I thought something was fishy with this quote....

  • Louisville #21 total defense
  • Mich St #28 total defense

Louisville was ranked #13 in total defense before the Clemson game. They also were top ten in the country in sacks and TFL. Their numbers obviously got obliterated in the Clemson game.

Mich St is comparable to them, but the numbers you quoted me were very inaccurate.
Mich St giving up 31 to BYU right now BTW. Haven't watched the whole game, so not sure if any points were defensive/special teams.
