We need to draft that WR Williams not Watson

I believe some compare him to Wilson, but I kind of see Utah (and maybe KC) Alex Smith. Smart and athletic. High volume of quick, accurate throws. Not sure about the deep ball.

3. Deshaun Watson's fall down draft boards has been documented here almost on a weekly basis, and that's not to pile on but to educate fans about a player who came into the season with as much hype as anyone not named Fournette.

Part of the issue with Watson, as I see it, is his lack of accuracy and ball placement this year compared to last season. You can look at the box score and see it too. Watson threw three interceptions against Louisville to counter his five touchdowns in the win. He's also completing just 61 percent of his passes now compared to his career average of 68 percent from his first two seasons.

Watson is pressing on the field—trying to do too much, basically—and it's showing in his stiffness as a passer. To regain his status as a top draft prospect, it's in his best interest to forget about his ranking or the NFL draft for now and get back to playing loose, fast football.

Its like dude came out with the sole, expressed intent of seeing how much he could lower his draft stock. The drop-off in accuracy has been worrisome. He even got his top target in Mike Williams back too. They were supposed to go Death Star mode on people.

Its not a good look when you go from completing 68% of your passes to barely 60%. His QB rating and YPA are the lowest they've been. He needs to get it together, otherwise he might be better off sticking around for his senior year.

With all that said and I agree he hasn't been what at least I expected so far I think he still has a chance to go number 1, and honestly I would be very happy if the niners draft him, I still feel he will be great in Kellys scheme..

I think realistically right now, a lot of folks have him as the #3 QB. If he can't get his performance turned out, it will hurt his draft stock. Usually when you look at QB's, you look at guys that improved every single year in college, not a guy who substantially fell off his final year. He needs to get back to playing the way he did last season.

Personally I think he turns his season around and does play better, starting tonight..Also don't you think the bc Its almost a fact that he will tear it up the combine is going to boost his stock if he doesn't turn his season around..? lol I say turn his season around like hes having a horrible season..

He's got to, he wouldn't be the first QB we've seen go from an expected top 3 pick to falling down the draft boards in one season. I still expect him to be a Top 10 pick but he has to improve his accuracy.

Lol BC doesn't even belong on the field with Clemson. Watson has a couple nice throws to Williams so far. Williams is definitely a legit wr.
3 50+ yards against the nation's #1 defense in the first quarter lol

BC has the #1 defense?
Yeah they always rank at the top statistically. They were #1 last year ahead of Bama and Clemson lol. Mostly a product of their schedule though they do have a history of putting defensive guys in the league.

Oh ok because this year they don't even belong on the same field with Clemson.

1 50yd catch
1 50+yd catch and run for a td
1 50+yd rush by the rb for a td

and we just started the 2nd qtr lol

Yeah Deshaun threw for 400 on them last year, too.
Great over the shoulder TD looked off the safety there...he's getting better as the season is going on.

I'd have no problem taking him
