They might be content with Brown at RT
Perhaps but if they are not Stanley fits the O like a glove and has a higher ceiling than Brown by a country mile.

Looking at the big picture, I would be on board for him. Plug in RT and future LT once Staley is done. A bit better pass blocker than Tunsil on a draft that is deep of 3-4 DE.. well sign me up. Unless, Buckner is sitting at our pick.

I rather have Stanley over Bosa. Something about that dude that just doesn't do it for me. If these 2 are our last options at #7 take Stanley please!!!!

I think we should go OL if Ronnie is there. Good OL are not easy to get and this automatically puts our OL, which is our biggest weakness into a strength.
Getting a defensive player does not turn our defense into a strength. It is much easier to grab defensive players in the draft than it is OL.
Let's solidify that OL and let Hyde run loose!!!!!!!!!

Get Stanley at first, top DE (Butler,Jones or Kaufasi)in 2nd in a deep DE crop, OG Westerman at 3rd.. best available the rest.. many good players that Baalke needs to hit this time.

Tunsil or Stanley are my picks. Fix the Oline and get the QB next year.

No dog in him. Plays passive. No thanks.

Not a sexy pick, but an important piece not only this year but for the next 10 years. A bona-fide true LT that has great techniques that is a great value at 7 at a position of need. What's not to like? He doesn't have Tunsil's "dogness" but I see enough.

Arent there not alot of good Qbs next year?
I say we grab wildcard in the mid round like Prescott, Hogan, Adams, or Hackenberg.
We play Gabbert next year and see how the wildcard develops.
If the wildcard doesnt work out we wait til Garrett and Rosen come out in 2018. These guys seem like the real deal

Mid rounder does not mean we cannot take a QB high next year. We'll have had a year to assess how we feel about him and his chances going forward.

You pretty much have to take a mid rounder just fill out the roster. My belief is you should take a QB every other year to have someone always developing.

My bro would always tell me that you draft positions in the 1st round that are a rarity in the NFL RT would be one of those positions

Thats an outdated way of thinking modern passing league has made both Tackle positions just as valuable. They also use to say the same thing about Guards but you see more and more Guards going in the 1st round.

Would be the heir to Staley. I would not count Stanley out of the convo at 7 now.
