If I drafted Bruce Smith and he's already showing to be the dominant end and the next year Reggie White pops up you can justify passing on him esp in the salary cap era. Yes, there's 2 ends and they both can play but it's not needed. There's a reason you're picking that high again too you got issues all over.

Deforrest allows us to pass on Thomas especially because I think they're both best at big end, nickel DT. I'd feel great walking out with our future nose and Leo in this draft. That extra beef will go along ways to help the run d too

I can see your point. I'm not giving up on Armstead, but the reality is that he is a project. However if the Niners don't take Thomas, I prefer a trade down, and although it may take a lot of moving around, try to snag Davis and McCaffrey. I still want Lawson and Bowser or Willis however.

I still think having Thomas and Buckner out there would make our DL incredibly dangerous but I'm not going to argue anymore with people if they think one impact guy on the DL is enough.

I'm not giving up on Armstead and hope he turns into a stud but I don't want to assume that and pass up on someone who can help us be great up front.

Nobody said 1 impact player period on the d line just we'd be cool with a Smith and a McDonald as interior guys and then look for impact edge players.

Mod, why are we talking about Thomas, Buckner, Armstead and the D-line here on a Leonard Fournette thread????

Do I really need go go back and quote the numerous times you brought up Buckner, Armstead, D-Line in regards to your "taken D in the first round the last 4 years" argument? Thomas has been a constant argument between two sides since free agency ended and the draft took centre stage. This Buckner/Armstead/D-Line diversion could easily be traced back to your posting as much if not more than anyone.

In any case I thought you were done with this BS? (Just like you said about 70 pages ago and a dozen times since.)

No, I only mentioned the names of the defensive players, I never discussed about the state of the D-line. This is a Leonard Fournette thread and not a D-line thread.

I am done with the BS from the bullsh*tters and not the thread.

BS from b******tters = people who disagree with you because....reasons.

Even though you've been caught passing off poorly researched stats as fact, refusing to answer valid arguments, and now trying to get mods involved in a branching off topic that you yourself had a large part in creating?

You brought up Buckner, Armstead who both play on the D-Line, which naturally led to Thomas who is a lot of people's choice, therefore you can't then turn around and say you never played a part in pushing the conversation towards the D-Line just because you didn't mention D-Line.

Where did you think the topic was going to go when you bought up players on our D-Line as an argument regardless of whether you said D-Line or not?

Someone get this man his ball, he wants to go home.

Relax it will go back to whether 30 yards against Bama qualifies as a generational talent in no time. It's a draft thread and anytime someone counters with plan b is smarter it's going to get dissected too.

You are another one of them.

Blaming me on the D-line discussion when all I said was we have been drafting on defense with the 1st round picks for 4 years? LOL. Nice one.

Again, I am going to go with the advice I got from a mod once, once you see the thread not going anywhere, just ignore.

You have now been officially been added onto the ignore list.

On that note, au revoir, adios, arrivederci, sayonara...

it's human nature for people to go off topic and delve into sub topics when discussing something. Human....nature. it's not about assigning blame, but don't act like you bringing up Buckner and Armstead didn't help (inadvertantly or not) push the discussion in that direction. You were part of the discussion, as we all were, but you're the only one crying to mods about it veering off topic.

Barely a couple of pages ago I responded to your four defensive players in a row argument by saying that it shouldn't prevent us from picking defense again and I explained that even if we went offense that QB and WR are a much better option. You replied simply by dismissing it as BS even though it was a valid opinion that I'm entitled to have (remember your little spiel much earlier in the thread about respecting people's right to an opinion? Where did that go?) and I expressed it in a way that was reasonable.

As for the labels you love to throw out. I challenge you to find some posts where I hate on Fournette, or where I b******t (unlike you I do research before presenting something as fact). I give my opinion, that's it. Feel free to debate it, feel free to ignore it, but drop the habit of hiding behind labels when people refuse to see things your way, it really doesn't look good.

Rascal he's trying to help, not putting you down or anything. It's okay to agree to disagree after reasonings, especially when someone is being respectful in doing so. Let's move on, this is not a prideful right and wrong moment. That's part of the issue online, people have a hard time apologizing in person so online they like to be legit stubborn aholes about things.

Since you look up to Jermiahs opinion so much. He's been hearing around the league that Lynch wants to build a high caliber defense like Tampa had.
