Not sure if posted, but according to RavensInsider(Aaron Wilson) on Twitter, we gave Dylan Thompson a $5K bonus, and guaranteed $15K of his 2015 base salary.

Probably will wind up being the team's #3 QB this year.

Or team's #1 QB sometime this year..

Generally speaking, if you're down to your 3rd QB, your season is effed anyway, so.....

If you have 34 or 35 inch arms, you are not bench press strong--it's physics. Only a few freaks with those dimensions can hoist it in the high twenties.

Has nothing to do with football effectiveness. Good technique and 35 inch arms pretty much means a defender won't get any leverage on you--that's a big win; forget bench numbers with these guys.

Agreed...just saw Patrick Miller play against Bama in the Iron Bowl game of 2014 and he was constantly using those 35" arms to keep edge rushers off of Nick Marshall. Even guys who had a step on him, he was able to extend those arms and push guys past the QB. Really hope they can keep this kid around, pack more muscle on him and develop him as a swing tackle.

This is true. Personally I am more worried about the team's #2 QB.

Definitely need an upgrade there. If Kap has another down year though, we won't have to worry about that...they'll definitely bring someone in to challenge him at that point, either early in the draft or a veteran free agent.

I'd actually be really surprised by that. We're brimming with talent and roster spots are limited; I feel like it's especially unlikely since Baalke hinted at Blake Bell being the emergency quarterback.

If they're content with Blake ****ing Gabbert as our backup, how low does that mean the bar is set for our #3?! I'm thinking he's practice squad for sure.
