Dres Anderson has a better chance of being snatched up, I wouldn't worry about Blakeney being picked off the practice squad and if he is no biggie. Now if it was DeAndre Smelter it would be a different story.

Blakeney has great size and athleticism. Lot's of upside.

Lots of receivers have great "size and athleticism." None of that means a thing if you don't possess the skills that the position demands. Looking at Blakeney, to me he's a guy who could use a couple practice squad seasons to develop his route running in particular.

By watching him play, Its pretty obvious blakeney does not show great size or great athleticism.
More of the "looks like tarzan, plays like jane" kind of player.
No matter what he looks like, a great athlete does special things while moving. Blakeney is not that; hes just a guy, who happens to get looked at because hes tall.
His play is some of the softest wr play ive seen from a real prospect in a long time.

I never got a chance to look at Blakeney's tape, but they must have seen something to guarantee him $17,500($10K bonus and $7,500 in base salary guarantee), so he is a P-Squader at worst IMO.
