Ex-#Mizzou WR Dorial Green-Beckham spent yesterday visiting with the #Bengals, source said. Recently was with #49ers, too. No. 21 & No. 15

Looking at the shear volume above in Post #97 you'd think Baalke's priorities are as follows: WR (13), CB (10), ILB (8) and OLB (6) will be our top picks followed by DE (5), RB (4), NT (3), T (3), G & T (2) & QB (1)

I will try to remember to come back to this thread to see how accurate that will be after the draft. Also just to see who we've drafted that we've met with. can you imagine if that's our order? Lol.

Perhaps our knowledge about the less visited positions is simply much better. And the deepness of the WR- and the CB-class respectively correlates with the number of visits of these classes too.

Can you imagine? I will have cracked the Mysterious case of Trent Baalke!

That said I dug a little deeper and in this thread I think think order is actually most accurate looking at quantity AND quality: Post #803

I could swear that I've seen a list based on MadDog's analysis here. But it was later than that from page 4-5 and more detailed (ILB-group divided to MIKE and TED for example).

Could very well be. Think we pick about 33-50% of those players we meet with IIRC. Also sometimes the confirmation comes out after the draft too.

Overall, from what I can tell, we draft 85 - 95% of the players we've had some sort of contact with, whether it's a phone conversation, pro day talk, combine talk, a dinner, or pre-draft visit. All fair game. It's fun to try and pinpoint who they're really wanting.
Matt Miller says S.Carolina RB Mike Davis will visit tomorrow.

Another good RB prospect. He has some starter qualities, but there are flaws in his game that would prevent him from being a starter-caliber back in the NFL until corrected. Davis has talent, but one of the biggest issues it seems is the perception that he is content to do just enough to get by, or does some things "halfway", so to speak. Davis can be good, but he'll need to shore up his weaknesses and make sure he puts forth an NFL-caliber work ethic and attention to detail to take his game to a higher level.

Yeah he was pretty average last year, but the year before he looked amazing til he got hurt in the Missouri game and just didn't seem to right after that. Was expecting way more from him this year and he disappointed.
per Matt Waldmann of football guys, only %6 of players actually get drafted by teams they visited, whereas players that got visits during the combine were drafted almost at a %30 percent rate. I thought that was interesting, noting that we met with phillip dorsett, and a few others
