speculate here about the "out of left field" pick you think the 49ers might trade up for.
my pick is a big, beastly guy with uncanny quickness, power, etc...the whole package. baalke and company could do something crazy and develop this guy at DE because his quickness and agility are so ridiculous for a 300 pounder. he's a little short, but his hand fighting is so quick and powerful that it gives o-linemen fits. he just may be able to play great anywhere on the d-line.
his name is timmy jernigan

I like the fact that we traded up but the pick is all wrong at this point in the draft to take a DT at this point. If we are going to trade all the way and take Jernigan IF we do move up that far it should be for either WR - Sammy Watkins - Clemson or WR- Mike Evens - Texas A&M.

Why trade up for a position that we don't immediately need?

ok i see us moving up for 2 positions with our 1st 2 picks..if the 1st is for a wr Sammy Watkins or Marqise Lee..and the 2nd moving up to take a cb either Lemarcus Joyner or Jason Verret..if its opposite with our 1st pick its for either Justin Gilbert or Darqueze Dennard..and the 2nd moving up to take Odell Beckham or Martavis Bryant..
so our 1st 2 picks could be a combination of Sammy Watkins or Marqise Lee and Lemarcus Joyner or Jason Verret...OR.... Justin Gilbert or Darqueze Dennard and Odell Beckham or Martavis Bryant..which would u rather..?

Jernigan's very good, but there are a couple of others who'd seem to be better 5-technique guys: Hageman and Tuitt. I think Tuitt's the guy to go after IF Baalke just goes for BPA in the 1st rd. At 6-6, 320, he combines not only the size & strength, but has amazing quickness for a guy his size. He's projected to run a 4.80 X 40 which is absolutely insane.

Johnny Football or Jadaveon Clowney.. JK
I don't think they'll trade very far up for a corner, unless it's only a few picks before them. I could see them trading up for a receiver like Watkins or Lee if they perhaps slip a bit and also maybe for a stud defensive linemen like Tuitt or Hageman

Give Up our #30 and #56 and #77 and a 3rd next year in the 2015 Draft to get to Sammy Watkins if he somehow falls passed the top 8 Players. We'd still have Watkins, #61, #94,#125, 5th,6th,7th,7th,7th.

Totally unrealistic. We run the ball 65% of the time and rarely use more than 2 WR. We could draft 4 quality players at positions we need and use more.
