I feel a little this way even though I really like Reid.

But are we even going to be able to sign all our picks? Shouldn't we value quality over quantity? I wouldn't have complained about an all in move to get Austin or Dion Jordan. Could you imagine Jordan and Aldon coming off the edge as pass rushers? Or Kaepernick with Austin carving up the middle as slot receiver?

I agree. Maybe people didnt want to deal with us or something. Who knows. Maybe they saw something in Tavon they don't like. But I will e dissapointed if we end up drafting a bunch of camp fodder that gets cut this offseason.

Hopefully we package our sub 3rd rounders for another 2nd or maybe a future pick next year. I don't want a big draft of people we can't keep.

Yeah, as if that ridiculous overpaid QB contract extension wasn't enough. NFL fans need a good laugh, DAL sure can be entertaining.

I had a Cowboys fan stop me at work (I live in TX) on my way out and wished ill on the 9ers and our draft. Needless to say today was a nice day at work.

Guy is one of the most obvious, and blatant headcases ever. I do not understand the want for this guy on this board at all. Do not want.

Based on everything I've heard to this point, I expect the Jags to take CB Johnthan Banks with 33rd pick if they dont trade out

Seriously, it would have been hard to beat out the Rams for Austin at 8th, it really would have cost us a bomb. Oh well, we had a good pick in Eric Reid in any case although some including me think 18th is a bit high, but you would never know cos there were rumours the Bengals wanted Reid too.

I think 2nd and 3rd rounds would be where we score big time. I see some big names coming our way such as Justin Hunter, Zach Ertz and David Amerson. I don't know, may be I am completely wrong, but there should be some biggies all the same.

Wouldn't surprised because some good players are still there that the niners trade down then trade up. Like trading the forth and the rest of the late picks to get a third round picks back, but before that, if lucky and some team wants Barkley, Geno or Nassib they give up their 2nd and a third. Then get take two of the three three's to move into the 2nd to get 3 2nd round picks. Pull that off - cha ching. Of course easier said than done.

Here is the thing people may not think about- LMJ can be used in the same way as Austin, though he may not be as polished a route runner as a receiver. If we can take a DL and turn him into a good FB....
Would u rather have a guy like ertz now or try n trade with a team like the jets, move down a bit and reclaim the lost 3rd to Dallas..??

It said he supposedly was sick.

But hahaha- he really thought that the niners were to draft him after the trade at #18? Thinks to much of himself. I had at 3rd round-now 4th at best, although some desparate team will take a chance..

This is, IMO, the question. Is the difference between Tank Carradine and the next pass rusher more than between Ertz and the next TE?

Smokescreen

Seems just like the Ryan Nassib to Bills talk. I don't buy it. But then again, it could be some jet mind trick from Harbaalke. You expect us to expected the unexpected and buck the popular consensus but we're really going to do the expected and follow the consensus even though we just threw a curveball with our last pick by doing the opposite of the stated and didn't even invite Eric Reid to a personal workout.

A lot of ins, and a lot of outs.
