Thank you!! I've been saying this for awhile. He looks like a real natural out there. Although if we really wanted to go pass rusher, it'll be hard to take Kerrigan over Quinn.

Quinn has tons more natural talent than Kerrigan, there's no doubt (and it's not close)....but does RQ have the motor, the passion and the discipline that Kerrigan has? To me, the latter three traits are just as important as the former when it comes to greatness as a pass rusher.

You know, I was thinking the same thing, Ghost. There's just something about watching Kerrigan play, and you see that non stop motor, relentlessness on each down, and like you said, the discipline he shows. This is something coaches look for in their players.

I can see Harbs falling in love with this kid.

Boston College LB Mark Herzlich looked ridiculous at the #SeniorBowl weigh-in this morning. Herzlich is cancer's worst enemy!

As a BC alum, I am rooting for this guy hard. Too bad he is an ILB.

I thought he was an OLB?

My bad. For some reason I didn't think he fit as a 3-4 OLB.

You could be right. Is seems to be a bit undersized for a 3-4 OLB, but I can't help but like and want him on our term just because he is mentally tough and a leader.

I could definitely see Harbaugh/Fangio falling in love with Kerrigan. You know he's going to set the edge for you in the run game, and of course be relentless in rushing the passer...that's exactly what you need in a 3-4 OLB. Not saying he's going to be the guy for us (at #7 or elsewhere), but I do think he's going to be hard to pass up in terms of overall talent meeting a critical need.

Locker had some funky throws, but you can see the talent he has. IMO, he can only help his draft stock this week, not hurt it.

Kaepernick has a howitzer and showed nice footwork, but has to get the ball out quicker at the next level. Still, he has a lot of tools to work with and could actually go as early as round 2 if a team felt strongly enough about him.

Stanzi looked cool and collected, and had a few nice throws as well but not nearly the arm strength.

Put Locker in a pocket with a pass rush and it becomes the funky chicken dance!

I didn't see his measurements today, but he is 6'4", 244lbs, so he isn't tiny. If he could put on some more weight he might be a good OLB in the 3-4. I mean, before the cancer, he was on the fast track to a Top 10 pick when he left college.
(Titus) "Young just made a great adjustment on deep sideline ball thrown by Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi down the sideline in front of me."

Would love to grab Titus in the third.

no way he'll be there in the 3rd if he runs a great 40 when you have all these teams looking for a desean jackson lookalike
Is there any tv coverage of these practices?

I heard he's not much of a pass rusher...Is that true?

per draft scout

Pass Rush/Blitz: Very experienced as a pass rusher in this scheme, showing good timing of the snap, burst to beat the tackle wide and rare closing speed for a man of his size to chase down the quarterback. Typically relies on his speed or a good bull rush to gain freedom off the edge. Could be that much better off the edge with refinement of his pass-rush technique. Flashes a swim move, but doesn't use it enough. Must be more aware of protecting his knees. To his credit, he gets back up quickly, but is consistently knocked to the ground because he doesn't bend and use his hands effectively to slap away cut-blocks, especially from running backs. Flashes the leaping ability to jump over blocks, but isn't consistent in this area.

He's so smooth. He does resemble D. Jackson. His size will keep him out of the 1st but if he keeps this up, there's no way he gets out of the 2nd.

agree, but if you look at the WR's from that draft class a lot of the smaller guys flopped
