McFadden had a hell of a day against Northwestern.
BIG, BIG play by McManis recovering that Fumble by Tate. Big, big play by Phillips forcing it.

I would think after a million and one opportunities to win, Auburn would FINALLY take hold of one and get it done. Wow. They tried unbelievably hard to give Northwestern a victory.

Kafka threw a lot of INT's in the game, but I think he's a rising draft prospect. Gone from undrafted at the beginning of the year to probably a 6th rounder, in my opinion.

I agree, 6th or 7th indeed is the probable landing spot. Despite the picks, the kid just makes a lot of plays out there.
Quick Notes from LSU vs. Penn St.

-Holliday almost took a punt back the distance a moment ago.

-LSU seems to have neutralized Navorro Bowman for the most part. I haven't really seen him close to the QB yet.

-LaFell is having a nice day.

So what's your observations about the whole game man? Who helped/hurt themselves? Thanks.

Helped:
ILB Lee
QB Clark
WR Holliday
DT Woods
CB Wallace
TE Quarles

Hurt:
OLB Bowman - No sacks, not much pressure.
Time to watch Mardy Gilyard vs. Joe Haden. First play was a catch by Mardy -- I hope to see more of this.

Nice play by Haden defending the deep ball.
I absolutely love the play of Alex Daniels. Unfortunately, he's more just a perfect 4-3 DE. He currently plays Left End in UC's 3-4 defense. I'm sure he has the athleticism to move to OLB, but it'd be risky to undertake such a project.

Right now, he already has 3 total TFL, and 2 sacks. Even when Cincy drops everyone into coverage, he's beating double-teams.
