I really don't see what we are doing here imo.
Going into the season with Jimmy, Rosen, and Flacco is not ideal. Maybe if they add a rookie but that QB room

Pretty sure we usually go through pre-season with 4 QB's.
We'll draft a rookie QB. Not saying it will be with our first pick, but we'll draft one.

Flacco is clearly an upgrade at back up. Cant be rolling with a Mullens type again.

Would be an upgrade at back up for sure. He did pretty ok in relief of Darnold last year and still has a live arm.

Flacco is a capable back up, Rosen is a developmental project. It clears things up for them to draft BPA at every round. If it's QB, it's QB. If not, then the team gets better in 2021. And if Jimmy becomes Jittery Jimmy, Flacco can play just as badly. I would not cry if Flacco was the backup.

X100000 I just don't get the thinking. Being better than CJ and Mullens does not equal "good" backup. I also see no future in that QB room

Because they don't want to invest in a rookie QB....sorry to break it to you.
Kyle likes veterans and this team is ready to win now vs in the few years it could take to develop a rookie if they even develop at all.
