Lol what?. You know positions are a thing, right?

What it'll cost to resign Jones and Hyder might be more then it will be to sign Watt, sounds like Jones is going to sign to the highest bidder and idk about Hyder, he will have a lot of bidders too, what do you think Jones and Hyder worth is ?

It would have to be a really massive pay cut, they arent just cap tight they are over and not by a little bit. I know Tampa has a lot of guys to sign but I could see a guy like Suh not getting picked up in favor of a younger/cheaper option or draft pic for example and that money going to JJ. It is very fluid there, kinda like us, but they have a little more working capital, a few more rather expensive mouths to feed, and a shiny new trophy to use as free agent bait.
I mean he's got a $40M cap hit...he could do whatever. I could see them saving like $30M. They just saved $8M with their center retiring.
I'll bet money JJ wants to play with his brothers. Like you said it's all fluid.

The free agent market will be filled with good D-lineman, I wouldn't worry about re-signing Jones. Hyder may be a bit tricky and shoot he may follow Saleh, but then there's Ryan Kerrigan, who I'd much rather see a 49er. Besides, there will be a lot of suitors.....A LOT, and I'm willing to bet Green Bay comes calling. Watt will definitely price himself out of the 49ers range, sure there maybe interest, but no way the 9ers outbid any team with more cap space.
Like I said, if he's not willing to sign for cheap, it's not happenin.
Before you ask ... uh, no.

They are like 30 mil over cap still last I checked. so if he saves them 30 they are at net zero...would still need to trim a lot of fat. They arent like Nola bad off, but they have a ton of work to do to just get a roster, much less sign anybody.

Again, I doubt he comes in at our price range. We aren't the Brady era Patriot here where everyone views us as the closest to a sure thing chance at a ring as can be had. That would probably be KC and maybe Tampa now because Tom is there. KC is going to badly cap strapped, but I would be looking at Tampa for obvious reasons, or Indy who has a ton of money and just needs to find a QB.
Tampa has some of their own to pay
Shaquil Barrett
Lavonte David
Rob Gronkowski
Ndamukong Suh
Chris Godwin
possible AB
and you got a bunch of dudes in a yr that need to get paid on top of it, like half that OL Brady JPP that secondary etc
I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up in Pitt with his brother. Big Ben is gonna take a MASSIVE pay cut reportedly.

Green Bay also way over cap. -29 mil or so if I recall.

I feel like he could come over for a friendly deal if we land Watson. Our team would be favorites for the next 2-3 years with them both
