It'd be a Trent Williams situation. He's due 17.5mil next year, the final year of his contract.

Great idea, then we can complain about how injury-prone the team is.

Great, then he could donate less than half a game day check to wildfire relief and then ask celebrities to donate the rest and then take all the credit for the money like it was all his own money.

If we can trade a 3rd and 5th and we do the same thing we did with Williams contract except I would see if he would extend with us for 2 years at a discount to get that championship.
Just Imagine Bosa on one side and Watt on the other, if the Chiefs can bring back all their players at all these ridiculous prices we should be able to get at least a couple.

We really need the draft picks. Not having the picks from both the Sanders and Trent Williams trades kinda hurt. We had 2 1st last year and no picks til round 5
. We need those young guys on cheap rookie contracts to keep the cap more manageable in the future. That being said, instead of a 3rd, I'd rather trade a 5th and AA OR a 4th and AA.

Very good chance they just cut the guy due to no guaranteed money left. Maybe he would come over for a shot at a Ring?

If he gets to choose where he plays I'd say the Steelers would almost be a lock where he would want to play.

Hell of a player, hell of a man, can only imagine he's just as great of a coach.

Why don't you just come on over to play for him & make him an even better coach JJ Watt?

You're right. Texans Would be smart to get something for him. They're still like 4mil over the cap even if they cut him.

The Texans gonna do everyone dirty? Just let him go and have a chance to pick his team. No one is trading for Watt and $17M

I've been surprised at what teams would do to make sure they don't have to compete for players. But this new regime really has no loyalty to anyone at this point. Caserio's main concerns are Upset Watson, no money, and no draft picks. He could at least try to make a deal that would benefit the team.

Like send Watt to BB for a 3rd without giving anyone else a chance.
