I could see the Niners giving them #12 and a 3rd since we're getting 3 compensatory picks.

#12 and whatever we can get from the Patriots for Jimmy G. That's my final offer.

I like Jimmy and if we go into the season with him I'm ok with it.
But if yall think Stafford ain't better then the "proven winner" Jimmy then tall don't know football.
Stafford can do everything Jimmy can do but the opposite can't be said.
I seriously can't believe we have fans who think Jimmy is better just cause he's a "winner"
Stafford can throw the deep ball and has great 'arm talent'. Jimmy has a great release but has limitations and can't hit the deep throws with any consistency. He's also made of glass so although fans of JG speak of his win %, the teams win % drops every game he's out.
"Fans of JG" aren't a monolith.
Every fan just wants to win. Improve the position with a fair deal and everybody will be happy in the long run.
Progress, I like it
It's been that way the whole time. You just ran with your narrative. Garoppolo is better than a s**t deal for Stafford.

Then Lynch should be fired
I'm still mad for drafting solomon Thomas

Lol what narrative was I running? Arguing with someone who likes a player more than the team?
There are not s**t deals when you upgrade a position of need

You're right. Bosa, Kittle, three 1sts and Deebo for Stafford. Hey, it's a position of need so can't make a bad deal. There's no nuance. Just bad or good.

"IF" a deal goes down, hopefully it won't include this year's 1st. With Stafford at helm, there's a good possibility that next year's 1st would be late, like really late.
You don't think the Lions know that? I don't see a way this gets done without us giving up our first rounder this year. I'd love to be wrong though.

The Jets could take Wilson at 2.
They could trade 2 to Houston as part of a package to get Watson. Houston then could take Wilson.
Atlanta is a wildcard to take a QB and could take Wilson.
Detroit and Carolina may try to trade up for Wilson.
Point being, if one passes on Stafford with their heart set on Wilson or Fields... you could come out of this with no QB.
