Dante Fowler/Shane Ray, EDGE

Not sure why people think Fowler is good.

He may not put up huge #s or lived up to his draft status, but he can generate a ton of pressure off the edge. And he racks up sacks in playoff games, which I personally think is a huge plus.

We'll see what he does today.
Not a damn thing...

can't pay this dude average dollars. not a consistent difference maker. Good backup/rotation guy
Still remember when people were pissed the Niners didn't try to make a trade for him.

I hope he does. I would look forward to them paying him big dollars.

Shaq Barrett over this guy. Not putting him down, but think we can get similar or better production for a lesser $$$$

And Barrett is a much more well rounded player. Can play LB and edge rush, good against the pass and run.

Fowler is the exact kinda player that once you pay him he's chilling. I would stay away. The guy has freakish talent yet has found ways to go MIA... pass for me

I think so too. Patterns and tendencys don't lie. I'd go after a underrated , hungry player than this 'diva' who wants to stay a Ram
I'm actually warming to the idea of Ansah on a 1 year prove it deal with incentives that kick in if he stays healthy and hits certain benchmarks. With his injuries and age, it could be a feasible option.

That would be nice, however, at his age (whatever that actually is), he would probably say no to a short term deal.

In this pass happy league, someone is going to give him a multi-year deal with some protection against loss of playing time due to injury.

He may get that offer. But I doubt it would afford him the upside he would prefer. A one-year fully guaranteed deal with a chance to hit the market again in 2020 could allow him to maximize his value AND protect him for injury.
