CJ Anderson

If they opt to not bring Hyde back then Anderson would be a great addition, especially considering his familarity with the blocking scheme.
CJ is a very good RB. Good zone runner.

Id be all for it
Didn't even know this over the hill running back was still in the NFL................Yeah Thanks but no thanks

U guys really trying to settle for anything. Have u heard this one before Jerick McKinnon is available? The draft class is beyond stacked at running back this year. Why downgrade the position when we can upgrade it

Over the hill?

5 years in the league and only 27.
Dude is from Vallejo also. He'd be right at home.
Not a fan of CJ. Thought Elway was an idiot when he matched the Dolphins offer for him. And Booker with his ball security issues was still looking better than CJ.
I don't know what it is about cj. Maybe that he gets hurt. But he's so damn inconsistent. He'll go on a crazy run, looking like a top rb for a stretch of games. Then completely dissapear, miss holes and get like 2 yards a carry.

Ended 2014 a total beast then went into 2015 with big hype and didn't do s**t till Brock stepped in as qb. I think he struggled running from shotgun with Peyton at qb. 2016 played ok but got hurt. Then 2017 was iconsistent as f**k. One week looked like a killer with McCoy, then the next week causing me my f**kin fantasy football game.

27 is old? Throw in the fact that he doesn't have a ton of mileage on him. Dudes a perfect fit for our ZBS. I'll take him over Crowell no doubt. McKinnon I like as well just don't think he's a 3 down back, he's basically brieda.

I'm with you NY, would love to have CJ Anderson, dude is a baller, underrated RB if you ask me. Why not just trade for him though if they're thinking about releasing him, maybe throw them a 6th or 7th round pick to secure his rights.
He's inconsistent and regularly out of shape. Him and Booker stunk in Denver this year. They kept giving Booker opportunities to win the job, but both were underwhelming and couldn't secure the job.

He'd be effective in Kyle's offense but I don't think he offers anything Hyde didn't. I think Turner and Kyle want more speed at the possition, which is why Hyde probably walks. I don't thin CJ could beat out Brieda anyway.

McKinnon or Lewis are the only FAs that make sense to me. If we don't sign them I think they'll fill the need in the draft in the 3rd-5th rounds.

Because he's fine, but not worth 4.5 apy, which is why they're cutting him.
If Hyde is not resigned I Like him better then any free agent back, not counting Bell of course..

I think his fantasy value in 2015 is what killed him for many. Think he was a 1st or 2nd rounder on most boards and he did nothing.

I think his production was totally dependent on how the Broncos used him. Just like last season there were stretches when he was healthy and just watched their crappy qb throw the ball all game. Their team performed better when they actually committed to the run. I think he's a decent blocker and fits the scheme. If Hyde walks I think he could be signed for a reasonable deal and he's a Bay Area guy coming home.

If other teams see him and Hyde being similar type of backs then maybe Hyde's chances of signing elsewhere go down
