Allen Robinson best FA WR

I should stop being a fan because I don't want my team to suck? That sounds backwards!

Our 5 wins were flukes? Well our 10 loses were flukes then cause we hadn't figured out the scoreboards yet.

"In speaking with John Lynch, just a little while ago, he said that they are not necessarily going go out and get that 'big-splash' free agent. Especially, at some of the positions that they've been linked in free agency too. There was a lot of talk about Allen Robinson ... they like their wide receivers, so I got the impression that that's not a position that they will necessarily address with a big-name free agent."

Obviously, this could be Steve Wyche talking out of his fourth point of contact or Lynch keeping everyone in the dark.

He's literally talking to our GM vs a ton of the twitter guys just posting 3rd hand information.

Exactly. Steve isn't the sh*t peddling type, so I think he's relaying information accurately. It's really just a matter of whether Lynch is being 100% honest and transparent. I believe that he is, but only time will tell.

I remember my first offseason ...

Our team won't automatically suck if we don't sign Robinson. No question he makes us a better team but we were a top tier offense with Jimmy G with a weak OL and no Pierre Garcon. Robinson isn't the missing piece...he's just a great piece to add to a team that will ride with Jimmy G/Kyle Shanahan.

Dammit I want Robinson - but won't shed a tear if Lynch doesn't sign him. The main thing when it's all said and done is 49ers have a FRANCHISE QB, it won't work without one.

Which is why I don't think we sign him. If he does sign, it's for another friendly contract.

Doesn't work like that in New England, Green Bay, Pittsburg, New Orleans etc.... Receivers in general always chase the cash. You do get guys like Wes Walker who knew great QBs make him look much better. So once NE let him go he went to Manning.

Some dude is doing advanced equations right now in order to better comprehend Jimmy's lightning quick release.
