Gonna have to hand out nametags to all the people quitting as fans of the team over the past few days, hard to keep track of everyone.

"In speaking with John Lynch, just a little while ago, he said that they are not necessarily going go out and get that 'big-splash' free agent. Especially, at some of the positions that they've been linked in free agency too. There was a lot of talk about Allen Robinson ... they like their wide receivers, so I got the impression that that's not a position that they will necessarily address with a big-name free agent."

Obviously, this could be Steve Wyche talking out of his fourth point of contact or Lynch keeping everyone in the dark.

He's literally talking to our GM vs a ton of the twitter guys just posting 3rd hand information.

Exactly. Steve isn't the sh*t peddling type, so I think he's relaying information accurately. It's really just a matter of whether Lynch is being 100% honest and transparent. I believe that he is, but only time will tell.

LOL, no worries. We'll teach you later!

Robinson seemed to perk up when SF was mentioned.

It would be a wise thing for Lynch to ask him to relay that message in case we lost in a bidding war too. Temper fan base excitement esp. with this Madden generation.

Agree and think it is where he wants to be. Just don't know if Shannalynch feels the same way as the many of us do.

Agreed. Why sign Jimmy G?

To make players around him better...not rocket science.

Too many people had allen Robinson on their football team a couple yrs ago lol

If they get him awesome if not that's fine as well

Did Lynch forget that we went 6-10 last year? And 5 of those wins were fluky since defenses didn't have time to figure JG out. Our roster is not good and we have to take this FA as an opportunity to get better if we want to compete for the division next year.

Yes, Lynch "forgot" they went 6-10.

Yeah i think i heard him moan a little.

The question will be if we offer him enough. At the end of the day he's a WR coming off a significant injury and I don't see him taking such a heavy incentive deal as Sherman. Have to be smart about it.

We're all excited at the idea of Robinson with Kyle and Jimmy but can't just blow our load on the guy if there's a bidding war.
