OK lol all he has to do is not pass the physical and say he can't hod a football in his surgically repaired hand.

And then the 49ers will want a third party doctor to confirm that claim.

If the 49ers dont trade him, Kaepernick can show up to all mandatory team activities as expected or hold out and not get paid.

? his guaranteed the $11.9m on April 1st. He never has to play again. He can retire if he wants. lol

I seriously question if you know how contracts work.

Kaepernick still has to perform to receive that money. No he cant be like "k thx guise bye bye."

If he retires, he doesnt get paid. If he holds out, he doesnt get paid.

Next is April 1 his contract will be guaranteed because of his surgeries he can't be cleared until April 9 I believe.

April 4 is the first time Chip can talk to Kap about football which will be interesting what the outcome will be.

This outcome will dictate weather Kap is traded or NOT once he speaks with Chip IMO

Also Kap had to buy an ins. policy that pays the 49ers $20m if he suffers a career ending injury.

There are many ways he can screw the 49ers over is he wants.

Ever since he waited so long to get those surgeries done, I've questioned whether he was doing it to screw over the team. Think about it...getting benched for Blaine Gabbert the same year your favorite coach gets mutually parted with. I'm sure he combed through his very team friendly contract to find a way to get paid. My guess is if he'll be pain free by the deadline if he's traded somewhere he wants to go but will attempt feigning injury if he either has to stay or goes to a crap team.

lol that would be like me staying home for work and expecting to still be paid

I do that all the time. it's Tele-commute Friday!
If Kap holds out he doesn't get paid?
Elways just being a b***h because he's still bitter about that 55-10 ass whuppin we handed him and his Broncos.

Send Kap to Cleveland.

says his $11.9m in guaranteed for injury by April 1st. If he can't pass a physical by then and he's still on the team he gets the $11.9m.

a career ending injury payout is $36.9m paid to Kap. Kap ins. policy would give $20m to SF.

He doesn't get that cash if he holds out...just like Chandler kept losing cash for games/training camp missed last season.

Also you'd better bet your ass any ins agency is gonna check to see if kap's injuries are"career ending" before they fork over that kind of coin.

Dawson deserves it

A big power move by the 49ers would be to sign Fitz, eliminating all other competition. The Jets, Browns, and Broncos would all be at Baalke's mercy. Baalke has the cap room and power to turn this offseason upside down and that may be the plan and why little has been done in free agency thus far.

That would be some Game of Thrones type sh!t

I'm very curious to see what the contract provision says about the definition of "injured" is. If his doctor says he's unable to pass the physical but the 49ers doctor says he passed, hopefully the 49ers doctor trumps. Or, at the very least, a 3rd and impartial doctor is decisive. Otherwise, he can try to fail the physical and collect $$$ for nothing.
