Elway still has options out there though. They can always make a trade for a guy like Glennon or Hoyer. They could also move up enough to take a Lynch in the 1st round.

Hoyer will likely end up being cut. He is a backup caliber QB at best. For Elway to get Lynch it would likely cost them their top 2 picks for an unproven rookie QB.

OK lol all he has to do is not pass the physical and say he can't hod a football in his surgically repaired hand. Pretty sure the 49ers would have to pay his injury settlement that's way more than $11m9.

Also Kap had to buy an ins. policy that pays the 49ers $20m if he suffers a career ending injury.

There are many ways he can screw the 49ers over is he wants.

Next is April 1 his contract will be guaranteed because of his surgeries he can't be cleared until April 9 I believe.

April 4 is the first time Chip can talk to Kap about football which will be interesting what the outcome will be.
