Just curious, but what does Mike Shanahan have to do with a 4-3 defense??

What wrong with Suh

Suh sooooooo crazy....
you dont need a mr nice guy on the DL

You do when your owner says one of the reasons he fired the HC was because we were not winning with class....

Sorry guys not happening. Suh will demand a $100M deal with close to $50M fully guaranteed, with a huge signing bonus. Which the 49ers won't give out, as they like to do small bonus, like Kap's small $12M bonus, and they do roster bonuses. I'm not sure they will give Suh a huge guarantee in his base salary either, they don't usually do that either.

anything can happen, plus his agent is the one doing the demanding..and it will lead to bottom tier team. Which i dont think he will like

I know anything can happen, but I highly doubt Suh will pass up a big pay day to take a cap friendly deal with us. We don't normally do base salary guarantees, and big signing bonuses.

I know he'd be a big cap hit but we actually have a number of players now UFA on the defensive side of the ball. I think JRE and Skuta will test the market and likely get starter roles elswehere, I think we are likely to cut Brooks given his attitude and performance last season and he's quite a hit next year.

I don't know if we're going to see enough savings in free agency, cuts and retirements that would allow us to take a shot.

i'd gladly welcome Suh. He'd propel us to the top of the defensive rankings.

Listen to him, he is the illegitimate son of Carmon Policy.

Same here. Very safe investment at a position that's extremely hard to fill IMO. Could especially use him if JSmith retires.

I doubt that we have the cap space, and also Suh is an extremely dirty player, proven time after time.

We need a little nastiness in our DL to mTch Seattles and Rams intensity.

Save for Suh' questionable character, we simply don't have cap space AT ALL next season. We don't even need him. We are fine with Dorsey, Williams, TJE and Dial at LDE and NT. Sure, some kind of upgrade would be nice, a pass-rushing threat in particular but we will handle this through the draft or a cheap FA signing.
We won't be as stupid as the Redskins as long as Baalke is the GM in here.

And to be honest: anyone who seriously thinks about Suh, didn't get anything about Baalke and his work since he is our GM.

Will be a Raider, then they will draft one of Williams, Gregory or Ray to pair with him and Mack.

given their huge cap space, why not? this would be a heck of an upgrade.
