Would you want the FO to make a play at him or is he too much trouble?

I think if Cowboy retires then we should take a shot - I am assuming Brooks is cut and we don't resign Iupati or Crabtree.
To much trouble. While he is a great player, he plays dirty and takes cheap shots waay to often.
Also with no D lineman who would be an authority ( as Cowboy) I do presume he´s more trouble than value.

Something in the art of Goldson and Whitner, commiting penatlies which keep stopped drives going.
He's arguably the best defensive tackle in the game. He comes with baggage but the more important factor would be salary cap considerations. Too bad, they're breaking up that Lions' Defensive Line, it's awesome. The 49ers can't afford him but if they did it would make Jed look ridiculous after the soapbox oratory about winning with class.
He should've been thrown out of the league already.

Can't believe they let him play on sunday. So obvious he stepped on rodgers ankle on purpose.
He will be a Raider next season. BOOK IT.

He gave some b******t excuse that his feet her too numb from the cold to feel. TBH though intentionally stepping on other players happens a lot

Agree - he's a beast in the true sense of the word.

As a player and as a human being.

I wonder if he could play DE???? Just asking.

I think that it's going to be a long shot that the 49ers sign him, he'll probably command to much money in free agency.
