Nnamdi is ballin'. I wouldn't mind seeing T. Brown cover the slot on occasion so Nnamdi can play RCB.

Seems like a good fit, Aso and Rogers on the outside with Brown playing Nickel. I'd like to see us play that just to see how it works, Fangio seems to really like Los as the nickel though.

Our defense should be ungodly this season if Nnamdi pans out to be 70% of what he was with the Raiders, judging on what I saw in pre-season he looks to be the player that he has always been. That Philly D was just horrible from the scheme down to the players. Nnamdi is about to play behind a pass rush and front seven that is far beyond anything he has ever played with, should be an epic season for the defense.

Well so far so good for Nnamdi, hopefully he does well enough where he'll get re-signed for at least 2-3 years.

I'm hoping that when Culliver returns next season, that we can somehow have Rogers (or Brown), Culliver, Asomugha, Cox, and Wright. Seems almost unfair. That's arguably 5 starting CBs on the same team. Oh well, why not us.

I personally think he has looked pretty good both games. Fangio said that the jury was still out on Nnamdi?? Not sure why? I think he has done well so far, for what little time he has spent with the team.

I remember when having Moss and Nnamdi on my madden 49ers team was considered a fantasy. Fantasy team. It's just unbelievable to me. f**king Patrick Willis Nnamdi on the same field is awesome. (no pun intended)

I think Fangio was trying to do his best not talking so highly of Nnamdi, something to keep him (Nnamdi) motivated or focused.

Agreed - you don't want to say he's a lock in a press conference when you are encouraging competition as our coaching team do.
I was seriously worried about our secondary given last pre-season, however everyone has stepped up, Cox is looking great and Nnamdi too - Brown and Rogers looking solid, Eric Reid looks like a great pick and a rarity for us in contributing in his first season. My only real worry is over Whitner and his coverage abilities, but we have good depth and our secondary starting to look like a real strength.
I am actually expecting a lot of interceptions this year, the front 7 are so good and creating so much pressure that there's going to be a lot of hurried passes!!

Something tells me Nnamdi is going to give this team very good production for the next couple seasons ala Walt Harris.

It's the same thing people did with alex Smith. Put him in a position to fail and then say hey wait he's failing. Andy Reid was on the hook for that 1. We will put him in position. He made the team the day Culliver went down.

All we need for him is to be reliable in coverage, make the QB look the other way, or think about it before he throws his way. Buying the pass rush 2-3 more seconds can make a hell of a difference. It's not like we need him to be a ball hawk, run stopping, world beater.
