No. At least John Clayton said that there was very little chance of Dumervil returning to the Broncos.
Sign Dumvervil. He is a proven commodity. Do what it takes, could be the difference in the SB. Pass rushers are a premium. this would allow Brooks or Aldon Smith to rest.

I'm on board with signing Dumvervil over declining DB's like Woodson and Nnamdi.

I would love to sign Dumervill (I mean who wouldn't?) but I doubt he comes here to be a backup. He goes somewhere he can start for one year and tries to cash in on a big contract next offseason.

I would love him especially if the speculations and rumors are true about our D switching to more of a 4-3 scheme.
Dumervil.........McDonald(Dorsey)...........J.Smith........A. Smith
Brooks........................Bowman........................Willis
We would instantly over match the Seahawks Front 7
Then say we trade up for Vacarro at FS and draft desmond trufant.
Best Defense Ever!!!!!

This thread is a pipe dream. Dumervil is 29 and has 63.5 sacks in six NFL seasons. He's going to get mad stacks.

Lol where are these rumors of us switching to a 4-3? Other then niner talk
Fangio runs a 3-4 so unless we are losing our DC sometime soon we will be running a 3-4 for the foreseeable future

Because of this snafu, Elvis showed his agent the door.

Yeah people are taking the 4-3/3-4 stuff out of context. Some of the articles out there have described how last year we played a lot of nickel and spent over 50% of our snaps with four down linemen. I guess the Dorsey signing added to the speculation, even though he's a perfect replacement for RJF and Sopoaga. We are not changing our core scheme.
