The only fans showing ignorance are those thinking Battle was ever any good. When you're the best WR a team has BY DEFAULT, it means NOTHING. When you muff punts, you suck as a punt returner. When you're the starting receiver who gets targeted more than any other WR on the team and only put up 600 yards that entire season, you are mediocre. But when fans have nothing else to root for and insist on finding a bright spot even though that "bright spot" was only a quick flicker in a span of 5 years, you get your nuts ridden like no other.

The guy is the most overrated player on this team over the last 4-5 years amongst Zone fans. Michael Robinson is now the most overrated player on the team and was already inching closer to Battle's spot at the top of the overrated ladder as it was, but Battle will forever hold a spot in Zone fans' hearts for being a mediocre player that continued to get playing time over other players who could have made something of themselves if given the opportunity.

I'm glad he's gone. I'm sick of mediocrity. I'm sick of seeing mediocrity get playing time over the unknown. You guys can credit him all you want, but the fact of the matter is his departure will not hurt the team in any way whatsoever. That should tell you something. It wouldn't have hurt us if he left in 2007 when the sack-swinging around the Zone was at it's highest.

LOL @ "you need to get laid." Come on, man! Only a virgin or someone with nothing better to say would think that getting laid is going to change someone's opinion of a FOOTBALL PLAYER.

Maybe you think getting laid will put me in a happier mood and will allow me to let Battle continue to receive praise he doesn't deserve.. Sorry man, but I'm only happy for a little while after getting laid. It's not an all-day high for me and it doesn't make me delusional. Those of us who do it regularly aren't put in a state of euphoria for days after the event. Sorry.
