A 2nd and a conditional mid rounder for Colon seems about where his value should be, IMO. He's purely a RT and has only one solid season under his belt.

Gaither is worth a 1st, but I don't see us going after a LT. Staley (and Sims, if resigned) is more than capable of handling that spot.

Oh well, we'll just draft a couple OTs. I'm fine with that.

wow i just tweeted joe staley asking him if he would be happy moving to RT if we got Gaither and he said no.......

What do you guys think about the rumors that we may be interested in Jared Gaither? Personally its kind od appealing to me. I like the thought that we would have a guy with expirence. One who we wouln't have to project as much. I really hope we make a splash with some kind of trade. I do not fault them thus far(not including David Carr). This is a weak market especially at the areas that we need help. Not to mention it is old. A bunch of 30 plus players. We can't aford to throw a lot of money at players like that. The trade market on the other hand is far more appealing with names like Gaither and Washington among others.

Speaking of which on the same web page as the Gaither info, it mentions that now that Dunta Robinson is in Atlanta Chris Houston may now be available for trade. Do you think he can help us? I don't know myself. He is 5-9 I belive so he dosent necacerrily fit McCloughan's I want big players philosophy. Your thoughts please. Thank you.

I want him with a Capital WANT... we can easily move staley to the Right side and we will have 2 Solid Tackles

I live in Ravens town and I believe that Michael Ohre will move to LT in the near future and Gaither will be the RT for the Ravens.

I would rather have Williams, Bualuga or Davis drafted to play OT then have Gaither.

From what ive seen from Gaither is he is still raw in that he misses assignments some times, very strong though and has pretty good footwork, but on the other hand not worth a first round pick IMO he does hav alot of upside.

Too bad we didn't take him in the supplemental draft to begin with.

I'd personally like to see a proven player on the line. I'm completely sick of seeing the line get pushed around consistently. Year after year. Can they find 2 consistent guards to go with Gaither?

Raven fans seem to hate the guy for being lazy and soft. I was gunho for this potential trade earlier, but not so much now.
