Gaither may be a pretty good value because he can play LT. He's pretty good and has plenty of years left on him. He might be worth our 17. Send Staley back to the other side.

-6' 9" 340
-Proven NFL tackle with 28 starts

Better than any Tackle we're going to be able to draft with our first rounders.

Totally worth it. Do it. 23 years old, 28 starts! C'mon!

pretty sure the Ravens would match any reasonable offer sheet. They aren't going to let him go. Gaither is a stud.

Well we should still at least make them match a nice offer. Make a run at him and make them pay at the very least. Maybe snag a hell of a young tackle in the process.

Rotoworld.com is reporting that Gaither can be had for less than a first round pick, according to the Baltimore Sun.....Four teams that could land him are SF, Indy, Dallas and Seattle.

I checked out a Ravens board, most think it's a good idea to trade him because they won't be able to afford him and other players down the road. They believe Oher can play LT and whoever their back up tackle is could handle starting. I think something will get done while the Ravens could get something for him as opposed to him walking next season and getting nothing.

isnt he younger 24? but anyways i would do this in a heartbeat. were drafting a tackle in the 1st anyways. why not trade for 1 whos a stud already and proven. sorry but for those who say no sit back and think harder.

I would give up our 1st rounder for a proven LT....hell yeah....that is the kind of move that this organization needs to make. There may not be a first round worthy Tackle left when we pick. 49ers were fools for not drafting him in the first place.

I want that damn LT too, But I doubt our organization has the balls to go out and compete with these other teams to get this guy

I thought it was a good move when the Eagles sent their 1st & 4th rounders to the Bills for Jason Peters.

Gaither for #17 would also be a solid move IMO.
