I thought he preferred to be on the West Coast, too. Oh well, there goes our 1% chance to sign him.

They already went all out for Cutler, what can they offer?
I'd hate to be a Bears fan right now.

If an ugly chick is dying to bang you, and you are able to get prime grade ass, it doesn't mean you are going to bang the ugly chick.
Just because the Bears are going to go all out doesn't mean that Peppers will sign with them. Arizona may be a sleeper in the Peppers sweepstakes.

The rumor is the Bears are interested not Peppers wants to be a Bear.

He is going to be a UFA, don't have to offer him anything but money and loads of it.

A "league source" is claiming this, not the franchise itself.

Would be a great addition for them, I dont want the 49ers giving a guy a near $100 million deal for a guy who will be changing position

Peppers wants a ring. He will go to a contender that will put a scheme in place to get him gaudy numbers and a ring. I think he values his legacy more than the money...
"Peppers acknowledged in a radio interview this month that he turned down a contract offer after the 2007 season that would have made him the NFL’s highest-paid defensive player."

So being the highest paid defensive player wasn't enough for him...

Wasn't Mike Martz the OC in Detroit when Rod Marinelli was the HC? And now Martz is the OC for the Bears while Marinelli is the DC. Also, Martz was the OC and HC in St. Louis while Lovie Smith was the DC! All I'm saying is that its funny how things happen in the NFL!
