Like other teams, the Cardinals could use franchise and transition tags to restrict players. In capped years, teams could use just one of those designations.
Dansby acknowledged there isn't much he could do if the Cardinals decide to tag him again.
"They have my rights," he said. "I'm just going to play it out and do what I do best, which is play this game."

They can't. NFL rules state that a team can only franchise a player two times. Dansby has already been franchised twice so he's hitting the open market. I'd love to have him on the Niners but don't know how much he'll want.
