Well gosh while were at it why don't we talk about trading Drew Brees for Alex Smith and Jason Hill and trade David Baas and Cody Wallace for Logan Mankins and trade Terell Brown and our 7th round CB for Darell Revis.

Too bad none of those guys you mentioned were passed over in favor of any of the guys you sarcastically suggested we use as trade ammo. You fail.

The original poster didn't just pull names out of his ass and associate them with another player for the hell of it. We passed on Jackson for Rachal and Balmer. He's asking if, now that we know how well or poor these guys have been over the course of two seasons, we would rather have DeSean than the two we took instead.

Some people just don't get it.

Oh I can bring up hundreds of trade scenarios for any team of trading good players they passed over for not as good players that they actually picked.

This thread is pointless. First of all the whole Balmer/Rachal/Jackson thing has ben talked about ad nauseam on these boards. Second of all there's nothing we can do about it. Thirdly who wouldn't do this trade? It's hardly a probing question, or a new perspective on a hotly contested issue. It's a repetitive topic offering an obvious answer. I could summarize the topic "Would you rather eat food or eat s**t." That's about how challenging and thought provoking this thread is.

I guess I may be alone in this one...lol....

I wouldn't do it.

I'm not a Balmer fan, but I think Rachal is going to be a very good guard. I think Iupati and Rachal are going to be a pair of maulers in the middle of the line for years to come.

The f**k are you talking about trading two players of one skill set for a superstar of another on a team that needs him. Oh... oh yea, that's right you must be a Madden trader.
