OF COURSE!!
I hoped and prayed that through some miracle they'd be able to draft both DeSean Jackson and Quentin Groves. And then they ended up passing on both of them. Twice. My level of anger has only increased since then. It looks like I was wrong about Groves, but I was very right about Jackson. I'd give up Balmer and Rachal for Jackson in a heartbeat.
Shoot, I would throw in Mrob, Norris, and D-love as well.

Why? His point was to point out the ridiculousness that the two players we drafted ahead of him are absolutely worthless. Yes Crabtree would be a much more even trade, but he didn't prevent us from landing Desean. The saddest part is that had we gone wr, we wouldn't have even drafted him. We would have drafted Limas Sweed, another bust.... absolutely pathetic.

It's interesting how things would have changed if we picked Jackson over any of those guys. With Desean at WR we probally don't take Crabtree and instead we draft Michael Oher.

The better caption for this would have been "]Is Philly stupid enough to accept a trade of Jackson to the 49ers for Balmer and Rachal?

Nobody asked if they would do it. The question is whether or not YOU would do it.
I would without hesitating. Balmer is trash and Rachal is mediocre at best. DeSean Jackson is a game-changer RIGHT NOW and has been since he entered the league.

Do you have problems with reading comprehension? Nobody asked whether it was possible. It's hypothetical.
A better way to ask it: would YOU make the trade if the Eagles didn't have a say in it?

Thanks Rider, the reason I asked this question was because many in here were still defending McClougan's decision to pick Balmer and Rachal over Desean while some others questioned his choice.

Well gosh while were at it why don't we talk about trading Drew Brees for Alex Smith and Jason Hill and trade David Baas and Cody Wallace for Logan Mankins and trade Terell Brown and our 7th round CB for Darell Revis.

Too bad none of those guys you mentioned were passed over in favor of any of the guys you sarcastically suggested we use as trade ammo. You fail.
The original poster didn't just pull names out of his ass and associate them with another player for the hell of it. We passed on Jackson for Rachal and Balmer. He's asking if, now that we know how well or poor these guys have been over the course of two seasons, we would rather have DeSean than the two we took instead.
Some people just don't get it.
