There is no good reason not to bring back TO. We have the money, its an uncapped year, he would make us instantly better and remove the curse on the number 81 jersey.

So that's pretty much a 2 year $10 million dollar contract, which is about right for a veteran starter such as TO. Shoot look what they did for Brandon Jones, and I guarantee you Owens makes more of an impact than Jones next year.
Eh I'd rather draft a guy like Demaryius Thomas or Golden Tate but I'd welcome TO back, but that price is steep when you can find a guy in the draft who has more athleticism and better hands.
and is about 15 years younger. isnt T.O. like 38? he already has bad hands and a big mouth, put that together with his aging legs and i dont see why anyone would want this clown back. let him go to oakland so he'll be close enough to monitor and laugh at without damaging our team AGAIN and letting the younger guys develop

Yeah he's 35 turning 36 this year I think. He can still play, Smith is a better QB than either of the 2 clowns in Buffalo and TO put up 800 yards and 5 TDs with them so he could probably get 1000 yards with Smith at QB. On the other hand, a guy like DT would add some serious size and athleticism to our team and a guy like Tate would stretch the field.

i dont want T.O. taking snaps away from Crabs, Hill, Morgan or a promising rookie. ill take a rookie with upside over a mid 30's WR with baggage and absolutely no upside any day of the week. Tate would be awesome if he falls to our 2nd rounder but i doubt it. hopefully Dez falls a little in the draft and we get lucky and take him

i wouldnt even say that. i think Hill and Morgan are both better than T.O. hopefully a better line will prove this. T.O. will not get the touches he desires here and he'll start to b***h and moan. Hill and Morgan are both faster than him and have better hands. its time to turn the page. taking snaps from developing players and giving them to a guy whos a season or two away from retirement is not a good idea. maybe QB is the only exception with that b*****d Brett Favre or a Montana situation in KC but QB's are different.

Disagree without any doubt. Terrell Owens commands much more respect on the field than both Hill and Morgan, shoot and even Brandon Jones. Terrell Owens last year had more yards and TD's than all three receivers I mentioned. Terrell Owens as a veteran receiver knows things on the field to help a QB like Smith and I'm pretty sure would help mentor the young ones for a year or two.
At 36 years old, Terrell Owens is still burning DB's for 98 yards!!!

he does know veteran tricks and all that but hes just a bandaid, our problems all started because we let the team get too old without developing young talent (look at the current state of the seattle seahawks cuz theyre going through the same thing) and besides that, even tho buffalo was bad, they had one kind of offense in place all year long. we had a shape shifting offense that didnt solidify at all and we also changed QB's mid season and had the worst O-Line in the league. T.O. doesnt even get close to 800 yards on last years 49ers

Last time we went into the season with young receivers we went came out with a 2-14 record, then a 4-12 record the following year. Seattle's problems are injury plagued O-line and QB problems, they have more than capable receivers to burn our secondary day in and day out.
Regardless of Buffalo's offense and ours last year, main thing is TO produced under the worst conditions. Imagine if they didn't have TO, they would've been worst than 6-10, TO was the best thing they had on offense last season.
And I disagree, WE DID NOT HAVE THE WORST O-LINE LAST YEAR, we were/are ranked 22nd in the league. Our O-line only gave up 40 sacks last year, compared to Green Bay who is DEAD LAST with 51 sacks.
And your probably right, TO doesn't even get close to a 800 yards with the 9ers last year, cause that would've been Vernon Davis with 965, followed by Michael Crabtree with 625. And again you are overlooking the fact that TO would be brought in to relieve pressure off receivers not to come in and be our star receiver.

If I'm not mistaken, we were interested last year. But TO wanted more money than we were willing to pay him.
