The last time the San Francisco 49ers went 0-5 was 1979. Tonight, in a game that almost saw quarterback Alex Smith benched, the 49ers accomplished the same thing.

This team knows how to lose in dramatics fashion in front of the home crowd. San Francisco lost 27-24 to the Eagles in a thriller of a game.

Next week, the team will host the Oakland Raiders at Candlestick Park.
