49ers-Rams Injury Report: Arik Armstead, Javon Kinlaw questionable; Daniel Brunskill good to go for Monday night

Oct 1, 2022 at 1:49 PM--

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 4 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Defensive linemen Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw returned to practice. Armstead has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, forcing him to miss the 49ers' Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos. Kinlaw played in that game but sat out the first two full practices of the week due to a knee injury.

"Just flaring up on him," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Kinlaw's knee. The defensive tackle underwent reconstructive surgery on his ACL last year.

Is the coach concerned that the injury could hinder Kinlaw throughout the season?

"Yeah, anytime someone has something, it's a concern," Shanahan responded. "It's kept him out this week, so hopefully, he'll be able to go."

Armstead and Kinlaw were limited during the Saturday practice. Both are "questionable" for Monday night.

The good news is that, for the first time this season, offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) is good to go. Shanahan was pleased with how he made it through the week of practice.

Wide receiver Danny Gray, who did not practice this week due to a hip injury, is "doubtful" to play.

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Rams, provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are Saturday's practice participation reports.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel was limited this week due to a hamstring injury, putting his availability against the Saints into doubt. The 49ers have listed Samuel as "questionable" for Sunday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted that the wideout's current injury is unrelated to the previous hamstring injury from earlier in the season. The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 49ers held a light practice on Wednesday, a precaution given the quick turnaround from Monday night's game in Mexico City against the Arizona Cardinals. The team didn't arrive back in the Bay Area until 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday and pushed the start time for Wednesday's practice back to 4:03 p.m. "We're starting a lot later, and we'll just walk-through today," head coach Kyle Shanahan said before practice. "And we've got to mix in Thanksgiving a little bit on Thursday, so we'll dial things back a little bit for that also." Wednesday's practice took place inside Levi's Stadium, something that doesn't
