49ers-Rams Injury Report: Arik Armstead, Javon Kinlaw questionable; Daniel Brunskill good to go for Monday night

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 4 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Defensive linemen
Arik Armstead and
Javon Kinlaw returned to practice. Armstead has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, forcing him to miss the 49ers' Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos. Kinlaw played in that game but sat out the first two full practices of the week due to a knee injury.
"Just flaring up on him," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Kinlaw's knee. The defensive tackle underwent reconstructive surgery on his ACL last year.
Is the coach concerned that the injury could hinder Kinlaw throughout the season?
"Yeah, anytime someone has something, it's a concern," Shanahan responded. "It's kept him out this week, so hopefully, he'll be able to go."
Armstead and Kinlaw were limited during the Saturday practice. Both are "questionable" for Monday night.
The good news is that, for the first time this season, offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) is good to go. Shanahan was pleased with how he made it through the week of practice.
Wide receiver
Danny Gray, who did not practice this week due to a hip injury, is "doubtful" to play.

49ers' Kyle Shanahan: Javon Kinlaw's hard work showing up on the film
All offseason, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed confidence in fourth-year defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw despite the team not exercising the player's fifth-year option. It was certainly more confidence than fans had in the former first-round draft pick.
Kinlaw had missed 24 games over the past two seasons. He underwent reconstructive knee surgery in 2021. A setback last season forced Kinlaw to miss 11 games. Fans were ready to label the defensive lineman a "bust." Some already had.
The defensive lineman just could not stay on the football field.
Kinlaw is finally healthy, though, and making his presence known. The defensive tackle is on pace for his best Pro Football Focus grade after an unimpressive first three NFL seasons.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 3 contest against the New York Giants on Thursday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Brandon Aiyuk will likely be a game-time decision. On Wednesday morning, general manager John Lynch shared that the wide receiver is working hard this week to play on Thursday. Aiyuk suffered a shoulder injury on a catch during the 49ers' opening drive on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
"I think, with Brandon, with these Thursday night games, they're a quick turnaround," Lynch said during a radio interview. "So he clearly got something irritated in his chest/shoulder area. He's working really hard to try to get ready.
