Yep. TKO said it was really important to ditch two a days for player career longevity. He said Singletary drove them way too hard (paraphrase).

Nothing new - just that the players needed time to read the contract, and that the players having more time off in the offseason was a big win.

They asked TKO what issue was most important to him as a veteran. He said player career longevity was his number one priority and they addressed his concerns by giving players a longer period to heal after the season and ditching two a days.

Its interesting to hear a player say something like that. It really shows that Singletary couldnt adapt to the current style of football both on game day and during practice. I really hope Harbaugh gets this thing turned around. We have talent to compete with the better teams in the league.

Yep, especially when it's coming from a good vet like TKO, who is one tough motherf**ker.

Yeah, it does. Not even the vets can even praise Singletary's ridiculous approach. I have full confidence in Harbaugh, and that he'll know how to run camps both appropriately and effectively,

Takeo is everywhere today. I heard him on espn saying some of the same stuff. In the interview with Trey Wingo they asked him where he wants to be, with the Niners or what he cares about and he said "he wants to win." Every player wants that but I wonder if this means he might move on from the Niners since we haven't been great.

As do I... not to mention he has his brother who has successfully coached one of the more physical teams in football. John may not be giving him anymore tips now that Jim is in the NFL, but only a fool would think he didn't give Jim a refresher course on the modern NFL while Jim was at Stanford and making up his mind on whether to leave or not.
