Yes, it usually happens for at least one player every year. Typically, a player scheduled to participate in the Senior Bowl backs out at the last minute, or suffers an injury, and a player who just finished the Shrine game gets called to join the big boys.

Perhaps he hopes he can improve himself against the better competition? Or get coached up on his weaknesses that have made him so horrific.

have to agree. he was just horrible all season long. he was supposed to have been the better of the ND lineman.

Totally agree. Nice name, nice University connection, but don't see him having an impact in the NFL as a OT.
