Thinking about the timing of what happened with the Andrew Luck/DolphinGate/Harbaugh signing thing, I got a weird idea in my head. Probably not the case, but it's an interesting scenario to consider. Has anyone brought up the possibility that Andrew Luck may declare after the draft? This would improve San Francisco's chances of landing Luck, and unless I'm missing something, Luck could, so long as he doesn't hire an agent, withdraw his candidacy if anybody but SF selects him in the supplemental draft. Should he do that, he could return to Stanford for another year and enter the regular NFL Draft in 2012.
