great gimmicks? besides let's say Austin and the Rock what other amazing gimmicks were there? The attitude era centered around the Rock, Triple H, Austin, Taker and several others periodically. I actually prefer a lot of WWE today to what I watched years ago believe it or not

For one, they should do away with the gay ass rock entrance music. Their entrance music back in the day helped set a tone and sort of gave a description of a wrestler's character, now a days it's all generic and bland and stupid.

Punk and Bryan would make a great tag team together but they just don't scream main event. Smart fans are really hurting the product by forcing the RVD's of the world down our throats.

My interest for wrestling is pretty much over with. Between the PG stuff and the stuff that needs to stay in the indies it's terrible product and they're even finding ways to screw Brock and Rock up.

blasphemy, maybe the attitude era was over the top with some story lines but was great tv. Now smackdown sucks ass. raw is hit or miss mostly miss. trips in his prime had a great gimmick, by prime i mean 2000,01,02... also mankind, y2j(in his prime) Angle(prime) Michaels, also the second tier dudes were good like regal as gm or al snow and the head, APA. The tag division With the Hardys, Edge and Christian, team 3d, the entire hardcore division, so much talent that they just dont have right now. Plus the pg wont allow for the talent they do have to be fun to watch, everything is predictable and lazy

I have been off of wrestling for about a year. I still read this thread and results threads, maybe watch a clip or two on youtube, but I am just not feeling it anymore.

Raw will be 3 hours now! Starting in July..... I see positives and negatives of it, 3 hour Nitro really helped kill WCW and I feel like WWE has no real idea of the long term planning at times anymore but more WWE is a good thing to me.

Impact will be live during the summer and Brooke Hogan has signed with TNA lulz
