For someone whose getting a push though, you would hope they could at least teach him how to talk better, I mean the guy is just terrible on the mic.
Also, while Khali is terrible in the ring and terrible on the mic, he has size and is very popular in India.
Vince tends to stick with a guy if he's got size even though he sucks.
Khali should've been thrown away a long time ago.

I think part of the problem is that they give him scripts to memorize and read from and he just can't do that. They should let him do his own lines like Triple H, HBK, Kennedy, Edge, etc. I've seen him do skits on The Hardy Show that are great compared to the ones on Raw.

Jeff had some good promos prior to suspension, his stuff leading up to the match with Randy (POSE~!) was very passionate and well delivered. But yeah the work on Monday sucked. But to his defense that whole segment was just...weird.

I think a Big Show vs. Taker story would be good for ECW if thats the case.

Yeah, but its not like a NBA draft. Wrestlers get drafted into a different brand.
EX: That's how Batista ended up at Smackdown (he was drafted by Teddy Long).
