BEAT NEW MILLENNIUM!

Nice find!

New Millenium is really f**kin' good, and they're good at the things we're bad at. We need to have a GREAT practice tomorrow.

Of the world!
I'm all-in on the Foshay bandwagon! Way to go, Pete.

This sucess-story totally reminds me of that one movie with that actor who does things and people cheer; an unforgettable classic, if ever there was one.

Top 5 night of my life tonight.

This game was for the league title. We were down by 13 with 4 minutes left, and you have no idea how hard it is to get a bunch of emotional teenagers to keep their composure in this kinda situation. But they did. I have this one kid who's 5'7" and 125lbs soaking wet, and he was f**king incredible down the stretch. Got like 3 offensive rebounds (which I think is more than what he's had all season) and two absolutely ridiculous shots in the paint over guys that were much bigger than him. Got a couple of steals in the closing minutes too. Just WOULD NOT let us lose. He wasn't the only one either. Every dude dug deep down, and we sent it to overtime with a 15-2 run to end regulation.

In OT, each team battled back and forth. They had a 2 point lead on us with 15 seconds left. We ran one of our most patient motion offense sequences of the night, which was odd, because it was such a high pressure moment, and my best player got fouled shooting a 3 with 5 seconds left. Now...I don't know if you remember, but this was the kid whose mom was gonna send him to Atlanta a few months back because she didn't wanna deal with him anymore. He's got a lot of heart, but a lot of emotional problems as well. He's a kid who really means a lot to me, who I'm always gonna look out for.

Anyway...doesn't get anymore pressure packed than this at our level. Down 2. 5 seconds left. At the line, shooting 3. League title on the line.

It was a sports movie, right? Or am I thinking of some other movie?

Ya, High School.

He's not our best FT shooter, but he's who I want at the line in those situations. That kid's been through a lot in life. He's a warrior.

This is hella cool, man. Congrats. Excuse my ignorance but are you guys like "world champs" or "sectional champs?"

I checked the bracket, you guys pulled off the biggest upset in the first round.

Seeds don't matter, if they did, you wouldn't be playing New Milliniuem!

Just champs of our league. Sectional champs would be us winning this bracket. After that are the state playoffs.

Are all your players healthy and active going into the next round?

No. We've played 25 games this year, and we've had the whole squad for exactly 1 game.

Isaiah...my best player...is 100%.

Ta'zon...my #2 and best big...is healthy, but is a moody b***h who is the emotional equivalent of a 4 year old. He was awful yesterday in terms of effort...in the damn playoffs. We have been all over him in the last 24 hours. I hate saying this about a 17 year old kid, but I can't stand him. But he's our most talented kid and we need him to win games, so it's something we need to manage.

Kobe...my 3rd best player...is healthy, but he didn't play last night because his mom is a goddamn nutcase and held him out because the game was too late. (7pm) I wish I was making this up. Thankfully, I just got word that she'll let him play on Thursday.

Tavis...#4, and best defender...is out for the year with a badly sprained ankle.

I've got some other bumps and bruises, but 5-10 are okay.
